This week’s Camera Club news
If you have signed up to be a photographer for the Frome Festival you should have received
an email from David with a link to the closed Facebook page. It is important that you access
this page so that David can organise who will be attending which event.
There is still time to sign up for some of the trips planned for this summer:-
Rosemoor Trip – there are still some seats left for this trip, but please let me know before
the 12 th July if you are interested.
This is planned for 7 th August, the price is £18 per person, food included.
Warner Bros. Studio tour – The making of Harry Potter.
This would be on the 21 st August at 4pm. The price is £45 per person and only hand held
cameras are allowed.
This is proposed but no date set yet, the price for Bristol Zoo is £15.
If anyone is interested in these trips please contact Michelle de Mora
Bristol Harbour Evening Trip – Sunday 11 th Aug. The plan is to take reflections and night
shots in the harbour and surrounding area. Leaving Frome 18:00, car shares to be arranged.
Rendezvous in the Grain Barge, Hotwell Road , Bristol, BS8 4RU. There is parking there
although it is pay and display. The Grain Barge can be the base for the evening as it also does
food. From that area you can take photos of SS Great Britain and it’s a 10 min walk to take
pictures of Clifton suspension bridge. Members can also get help taking night time pictures.
If members are interested, please reply by email to me and I will then forward on to Harvard
who is organising.
