​The FROME SALON of PHOTOGRAPHY 2019
A member of the British Photographic Exhibition (B.P.E.) Circuit.
Sponsored by the Frome Wessex Camera Club.

Our 7th National Salon of Photography, is CLOSED.
The Salon Entry window opened on 13th September and closed on the 3rd November 2019.
The Selection took place successfully on the 23rd and 24th November.
Score sheets were issued by email on 27th November.
All awards and CDs were dispatched on 14th January 2020.

We are pleased to have had our largest entry this year with 5,544 images submitted.
The Frome Wessex Camera Club would like to thank all those who entered this Salon.
We congratulate all those who gained an Acceptance or an Award and comisserate with those who did not achieve what they hoped for.
We hope to see your work in our 2020 Salon.

THE FSoP 2019 RESULTS ARE AT : LINK

MAC users - replacement Slideshows.
We have become aware that the Catalina update to the MAC OS removed the ability of
upgraded MACs to run 32bit applications, and this has prevented our MAC slideshows
running on upgraded MACs.
In lieu, we have created videos of the FSoP slideshows which are now available at the above link.

BACKGROUND

The Frome Salon of Photography was first launched in 2012 and has become increasingly popular, attracting over 480 entrants and over 5,500 digital image entries in 2019.
We are a member of the British Photographic Exhibition circuit and conduct the salon based upon their rules.

We award Medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze), Individual Selectors' ribbons (1st and 2nd), and Certificates (Highly Commended and Commended) in each class.
For FWCC members, certificates are awarded in each class as follows; FWCC Best in Class, FWCC Highly Commended and FWCC Commended. 

We are a UK National Salon open, and are only to photographers with addresses in United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and BFPO addresses.
